How it works
Planning your own hiking tour with Laliguras is easier than you think! Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Select a trail
Pick the trail you want from our collection of routes. Tell us your group size – from 1 to 6 people. (Got more friends? No problem! Create multiple groups or contact us directly.)
Next, choose your difficulty level:
- Beginner – First time hiking at high altitude? Start here.
- Advanced – You've hiked before and can handle tougher terrain.
- Expert – You're a pro looking for a real challenge.
Remember: don't choose a higher difficulty just to save money, the experience matters more than a few bucks!
Step 2: Connect with a Guide
Browse our list of verified local guides and choose who you'd like to hike with. Your tour cost will adjust automatically based on the guide's daily rate.
Want to support your guide directly? Select Wild Connect, which sends 100% of your payment straight to them.
Need extra help? Add a porter – we'll assign one close to your tour area.
Step 3: Choose your essentials
Think of building your tour like creating your own burrito: pick what you want, skip what you don't!
- Food & Lodging: Pay locals directly or let us handle it for guaranteed beds even in peak season.
- Transportation: Choose flights, private vehicles, or local buses. Prices depend on your choices and destination.
Once your selections are in, we'll review your plan and share the final details and prices so you can decide what works best.
Step 4: Plan your tour
Give your tour a name (something easy for your group to remember!). Choose your start date from Kathmandu, since all tours begin and end there.
If you're organizing for others but not joining, just mark that option – you'll still be the tour admin.
Lastly, pick your booking type:
- Wild Connect – 100% goes to your guide.
- Adventure Connect – Includes a small fee for secure bookings.
Once you're done, log in, hit "Save Tour," and you're all set! You can find your new adventure under Your Tour in your profile – ready to turn into your next unforgettable journey.
